Overconfident People Who Got Called Out for It Online

Being confident is good, it can help you get in places in life and stand your ground, but there’s such a thing as overconfidence. We’ve all been there before – speaking with confidence about a subject that we don’t know enough about, making fun of others while we’re in the wrong, or using Disney movies as references of truth. If you’re not an expert in a certain field, or you’re not completely sure you know what you’re talking about, it’s better not to say anything. No one likes arrogant people, and even worse than arrogant people are arrogant people who don’t really know what they’re talking about. Unfortunately for these people, they were overconfident on social media, and now their mistakes are captured forever on the internet realm.

Princess Diana Was Two Men?

We’ve evolved as a society, and people these days are referring to themselves in plural form as “we” – because they feel that’s the most appropriate term for themselves. However, that’s not the case here. In this case, they are talking about two Princes – Prince Harry, and Prince William.

How this person failed to see that is beyond us. We all make mistakes, but when those mistakes are pointed out for us, we should take a moment and reconsider what we’ve said. Is it possible we’re in the wrong? In this case, this person couldn’t understand his mistake and kept insisting on his argument, which only made things worse for him.

Smh

People are just looking for reasons to get offended nowadays. For instance, take this person who was upset that yogurt is made by cows with predominantly female names, such as Myrtle, Letty, and Veronica. How about next time you’ll use the milk from male cows to make our delicious, sugar-laden yogurts?

But wait a minute. Male cows, a.k.a. bulls, don’t produce milk, do they? Or maybe this person is upset that there aren’t female cows with male names, like Steve or David. Which is it, o warrior of peace and gender equality? Next time, you should thank your stars that you’re drinking milk from a lady cow and not a bull.

College Degrees Don’t Mean a Thing

It seems like colleges aren’t doing enough to screen their applicants. You’d think that the brightest of our younger generation would make it into a reputable college, but sometimes, that doesn’t turn out to be the case. Take this guy, who was unsure whether 12:02 PM was in the middle of the day or the middle of the night.

He emailed his professor to clarify which of the two he meant, to which the professor responded with a savage with a link to Merriam Webster’s definition of 12 PM. To this guy’s credit, he was able to laugh at his own foolish mistake. Laughter is the best medicine, right?

Math Doesn’t Check Out

If you could walk 1,000 miles and walk 1,000 more, how long would it take? Now, if you could drive that many miles, how many days would it take you? According to this Reddit user, he could travel all 2,000 miles in a day pretty easily. However, math and biology were 100% against him.

Assuming he was driving 75 MPH, it’d take him over 26 hours to travel 2,000 miles, which is more than a day. Even if he picked up the pace, his body would force him to stop at one point to sleep, eat, drink and relieve himself. Just because you can’t do the math doesn’t mean that the math is incorrect.
