Times Clueless Men Should Have Turned to Google

It’s no secret how a woman’s body works, but for some reason, there is a considerable gap in the knowledge bank of the average man, even those that practice medicine. Each year, one Twitter user asks women to share some of the most ridiculous things they’ve heard from men about women’s bodies, and we are blessed with the results. Get ready to cringe and facepalm your way through times men should have tried to Google it first because they got it very wrong! I won’t lie, there’s a heavy dose of mansplaining below, but it sounds like most of them eventually learned a thing or two.

Odd Assumption, But Okay

Honestly, I’m trying to find some kind of logic here, but I’m at a total loss. Does he think we grow our own cotton tampons to carry with us? Has he never seen the feminine product aisle at a store? Oh, maybe he thinks we’re all witches and can just conjure up tampons when we need them!

I’m also confused about what he thought a tampon was, to begin with. It’s hard to assume that he understands periods only happen once a month, and we don’t need feminine products for the rest of the time. It’s not as if we only use tampons, either. Hopefully, she set him straight.

Fantasy Land

Oh, wouldn’t it be wonderful to start and end our periods at will? This is something every woman has wished for at some point in their life. Periods can get in the way of a lot of things! Just imagine you have a beach trip next week and you could willfully start your period today and not have to worry about your swimsuit.

I think it’s even more hilarious that he was frustrated over it. What an odd thing to get upset over. I mean, sure, a late period is a possible indication of pregnancy, but if we could just choose to have them, there wouldn’t be any reason for all this anger over women’s rights. He has to have at least seen a few news articles recently, right?

In Sync

I’m going to assume this guy is also oblivious to ovulation because, according to his theory, there should only be one day a month that people have birthdays. If every woman started her period on the 15th and ovulated like clockwork two weeks before, then we’d have twelve days a year when people would be born.

Maybe I’m thinking about it way more than her ex-boyfriend ever did. I bet he was shocked when she randomly started her period on the 9th of the month. Oh! Maybe it was the 21st, and he panicked, thinking she was pregnant. That would have been quite funny.

Glad He’s an Ex

I’ve heard quite a few people say that having a c-section means you didn’t give birth (you did, that’s not how it works), but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone who believed c-section babies weren’t real. Does he think they’re all droids walking around? That’s very confusing.

Not only was he ignorant of the way things work, but he refused to understand the logic sitting in front of him and then went off on her saying she just didn’t understand. That’s what takes the cake here. I’m not a psychologist, but that sounds like narcissistic behavior.
